January 2011 - The Hill Country Women in Business speaker for January was Heather Tessemer of Tessemer Law Firm. The meeting was well attended as members were interested to learn about a variety of legal issues that affect all women business owners. Tessemer's topic was Covering Your Assets. She presented information about Contracts, Waivers, Legal Formations, Insurance, Trusts, Errors and Omissions Policies, Wills, Gifting, Estate Planning, and more. Hill Country Women in Business is a networking group of Women Business owners. August 2010 - The August Hill Country Women in Business Meeting was hosted by Lucy Ziegler, who is a licensed professional counselor. Members enjoyed her informative presentation and learned how to cope with and handle stress. In addition, the women participated in networking opportunities and ate a delicious meal at Fair Oaks Country Club.
May 2010 - Hill Country Women in Business welcomed speakers Leigh Ann Grasso and Dr. Kyla Helms who gave an informational talk on hormones and compounding at The May General Meeting. They also spoke about how professionals can prepare customized medications to meet each patient's specific needs. The next General Meeting is June 10, 2010.
March 2010 - The Hill Country Women in Business wrapped up another successful year of networking at their March meeting. Pictured above is Dr. Kathy Hubbard passing over her Presidential duties to the new HCWIB President Bobbie French who owns Fitness is Timeless. It was a fun and full evening that included recognizing new committee members, welcoming new group members and guests, and enjoying the slide show presentation of photos taken that were taken throughout the year. The next General Meeting will be held on April 8, 2010.
February 2010 - Hill Country Women in Business enjoyed a fabulous lunch while networking at The Boerne Seller. Pictured is HCWIB President Dr. Kathy Hubbard presenting the HCWIB Woman of the Year Award to Helene Bachmann who owns Legal Funding Group,LLC. In addition to that presentation, nominations for the new board were submitted and voted on, and new HCWIB members were announced. The next General meeting will be on March 11, 2010 at Fair Oaks Ranch. Hill Country Women in Business is a networking organization made up of women business owners.
November 2009 - Hill Country Women business members were all ears as their speaker Marie Hicks, owner of The Hill Country View, presented fascinating information about her career in the newspaper business, being a woman business owner, and changes in Boerne over the years. It was a very fun and informative meeting as she also gave business tips and answered many questions.
July 2009 - The Hill Country Women in Business enjoyed their annual swimming social at the home of Helene Bachmann. It was a great time to get to know fellow members and relax while enjoying delicious food and swimming in a resort like pool in Helene's backyard! The next meeting will be on August 13, 2009.
June 18, 2009 - Hill Co Women in Business Learn Pain Elimination Techniques

Gayle Jones, owner of NST Pain Elimination, taught fellow Hill Country Women in Business members about the benefits of Neuro Structural integration Technique and demonstrated many stretching and relaxation exercises. HCWIB members participated in the exercises outside on the Fair Oaks Country Club at their General Meeting. July's meeting will be a Social and Membership Drive. The next General Meeting will be a luncheon on August 13 at 11:30 . Thursday, March 12, 2009 the Hill Country Women in Business (HCWIB) enjoyed a delicious meal at Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club and a great time reviewing last year's networking and social events. The official business that night was to announce the 2009-2010 officers. The new officers are Kathy Hubbard, President; Bobbie French, Vice President; Linda Tom, Secretary; and Helene Bachman, Treasurer. HCWIB members would like to let Leah Coyne know that she did an outstanding job last year leading the organization. Incoming Board Members and Committee Chairs attended the March 5, 2009 HCWIB Board meeting at the home of Helene Bachman. HCWIB is a networking group of women business owners. The job of the board and committee members is to provide relevant social and business programs for its members. It was a fun filled night and the new committees are motivated and ready to provide great support for one another both personally and professionally. The official induction of the 2009-2010 board members, a Year in Review video and Woman of the Year announcement will take place Thursday, March 12th at the monthly General Meeting which will be held at Fair Oaks Ranch.
